Day 1NJP / BAGDOGRA TO GANGTOK – ARRIVAL & LEISURE
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, begin your scenic journey to Gangtok, the charming capital of Sikkim nestled in the Eastern Himalayas. The drive offers mesmerizing views of the Teesta River and lush green hills. After hotel check-in, spend your evening exploring MG Marg, a vibrant, vehicle-free promenade known for its cafés, restaurants, and local shopping. It’s the perfect place to soak in the local culture and relaxed mountain vibe.

Day 2EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR
After breakfast, head towards the stunning Tsomgo Lake, a high-altitude glacial lake situated at around 12,400 ft. Surrounded by snow-covered mountains, the lake changes colors with the seasons and remains partially frozen in winter, offering a magical experience. Next, visit the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, dedicated to an Indian Army soldier believed to protect the region even after his death—making it a place of deep faith and patriotism. Travelers can also opt for a visit to Nathula Pass, a historic Indo-China border pass located at 14,140 ft, known for its strategic importance and breathtaking mountain views (subject to permit and extra cost). Return to Gangtok for overnight stay.

Day 3GANGTOK TO LACHEN – INTO NORTH SIKKIM
Today, embark on a picturesque journey to Lachen, a peaceful mountain village in North Sikkim. En route, stop at the beautiful Seven Sisters Waterfalls, a spectacular cascade flowing down multiple tiers, especially powerful during the monsoon season. Continue to Chungthang, a small town where the Lachen and Lachung rivers meet, holding both scenic and cultural significance. Surrounded by mountains and greenery, Lachen offers a tranquil escape from city life. Check-in at your hotel and relax for the night.

Day 4GURUDONGMAR LAKE – TRANSFER TO LACHUNG
Start early for a once-in-a-lifetime visit to Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world at an altitude of 17,800 ft. The lake is considered sacred by both Buddhists and Sikhs and is known for its crystal-clear blue waters that remain partially unfrozen even in extreme winters. Surrounded by snow-clad peaks and barren landscapes, it offers an almost surreal experience. After returning to Lachen for breakfast, proceed to Lachung, another picturesque Himalayan village famous for its apple orchards, waterfalls, and serene atmosphere. Overnight stay in Lachung.

Day 5YUMTHANG VALLEY – RETURN TO GANGTOK
After breakfast, visit the enchanting Yumthang Valley, located at around 11,800 ft. Known as the “Valley of Flowers,” this stunning destination is covered with colorful alpine flowers during spring and offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and flowing rivers. Nearby hot springs are also known for their medicinal properties. Guests can optionally visit Zero Point, a high-altitude snow-covered area near the Indo-China border where the road ends, offering a raw and untouched Himalayan landscape (extra cost). Later, return to Gangtok for overnight stay.

Day 6GANGTOK TO NJP / BAGDOGRA – DEPARTURE
After breakfast, bid farewell to the mountains as you transfer back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. Your journey concludes with unforgettable memories of Sikkim’s natural beauty, peaceful monasteries, and high-altitude adventures.
