  ARRIVAL & TRANSFER TO OKHREY

  On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport, proceed for a scenic drive to Okhrey, a charming offbeat village surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful Himalayan landscapes. The journey passes through picturesque valleys, forests, and small hill settlements, offering refreshing views throughout. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel/homestay and relax. In the evening, take a short village walk and soak in the serene environment.

• Day 2

  OKHREY – HILLEY – BARSEY RHODODENDRON SANCTUARY EXCURSION

  After breakfast, drive to Hilley, the gateway to Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary. From Hilley, begin a gentle trek of around 4 km through dense forest trails filled with blooming rhododendrons (seasonal), creating a colorful natural carpet. Enjoy the fresh mountain air, bird sounds, and peaceful surroundings.

  Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary: A famous sanctuary rich in Himalayan flora, especially vibrant rhododendrons during spring. It also offers stunning views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and is perfect for nature walks and photography.

  Hilley View Point: A scenic spot offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Singalila Range, rolling valleys, and distant snow-capped Himalayan peaks, making it ideal for photography and relaxation.

  After sightseeing, return to your stay and relax amidst nature.

  DEPARTURE

  After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport with beautiful memories of your peaceful Himalayan escape, vibrant rhododendron forests, and scenic landscapes.
